Merry Christmas

     Merry Christmas!!
     YA~!! This week, we would announce "the Small Angel" as well as "the Little Host" and exchange presents. My Little Host was Jimmy. I was so happy that he had never discovered his Small Angel was me. In addition, I enjoyed his happiness as receiving my blessing a lot. The present that he gave me was lots of chocolates. I was pleasured. My Small Angel was Charis. In fact, I had guessed my Small Angel was her. I was so gladed that my Small Angel was her. No matter whether she was my Small Angel or not, she always showed her consideration for me. Besides, I also received some Christmas cards and gifts from my roommates and other friends. The Christmas Day was a blessing day!!

Week 15 (2011/12/19-2011/12/25)

My YuanLin Tour

     We had a five-days vacation in this week. Colleen invited me to go to her hometown, YuanLin on Thursday.
     On that day, Colleen had returned home on Wednesday so I should take the train to YuanLin by myself. However, unfortunately, I didn't notice that there were two route, mountain route and sea route, of the train from TaiChang to YuanLin. And I took a wrong train. It was till the train crossed the ChangHua that I found I had taken a wrong train. Because I found that the railroad station after ChangHua was different from what I had checked. I was so nervous that I jumped off the train at the next railroad station, ZhuiFen. I had no choice but to ask for the stationmaster. He told me that I should take the train to ChengGong, and then change the train to YuanLin. What a terrible experience!! But thinking in the other side, it meant that I would ZhuiFenChengGong(追分成功) in the final exam, didn't it? On the other words, it was a accident blessing that I could all pass in the final exam.
     And then, I finally arrived in YuanLin. Colleen took me to eat a delicious  katsu-don. Then, I called Fanny, who also lived in YuanLin, to come with us. Afterward, Colleen, Fanny, and I strolled around book stores to buy preaents that prepared for the Little Angel. Although we just strolled around book stores, I enjoyed the feeling of selecting the presents together very much.
     I thought that one of my five-days vacation was very great. YuanLin is a small and cute town. I must go to YuanLin once again and visit you, Colleen and Fanny. Thank you and Love you!!

Week 14 (2011/12/12-2011/12/18)

The Ancient Egyptian Art from Louvre Museum

     Anniversary celebrations and athletic meet were held in this weekend. But we actually didn't have to do anything. As a result, my friends and I had planned to enjoy "The Ancient Egyptian Art from Louvre Museum".
     In the Ancient Egyptian Art Exhibition, we could understand the history of the Ancient Egyptian and see the cultural or historical relics. I admired the Egyptians so much because they were so smart that they came up with the way to preserving the mummies and building the pyramids. Those skills were great and artistic. In addition, their dresses, ornaments, and utensils were also beautiful and artistic.
     Looking those exquisite relics and the record about their life, I could not imagine that the strong kingdom would ruin.

Happy Lunch Time

     This Sunday, my roommates and I had a happy lunch in Gioia PaPa Pizza(喬e歐爸爸). Because we had become much busier, we had less time to deal with. As a result, I had looked forward to the dine gathering for a long time. We could not only share recent situation each one but also enjoy the delicious food.

Week 12 (2011/11/28-2011/12/4)

English Waves

     English Waves raided on NTCU once again. Seventh English Waves was held on this Thursday and Satturday. It was a English singing competition held by our departmant. My job for English Waves was to design the poster, the logotype, the picture of our official website, and the covers of the handbook. I had prepared for it from summer vacation. In fact, I was not really good at computer cartography, but I should use it to do these designs. As a result, I should practice it by myself. I was so afraid that my designs are not good. I tried my hard to go the designs that I was satisfied. Although these designs were not perfect but the best for me. And as long as I heard some compliments, I was extremely pleasure and satisfied. It was a great and meaningful experience for me. In addition, my abilities of computer cartography had made a great advancement.

The Little Angel with the Small Host

     Recently, we are playing "The Small Angel with the Little Host". I think that it is very intersting. Because receiving the blessing or consideration from my Little Angel, I would feel happy and warm. And on the otheer hand, as long as I see my Small Host smiles when receiving my consideration, I also feel pleasured. It is a warm game to send warm. As a result, our class is always filled warm and fragrant atmosphere.


Week 12  (2011/11/28-2011/12/4)

Beginning of the Night

     This weekend, NTCUSA(student association) through a party, Beginning of the Night. I was the staff, so I should make up and dressed up as going to a pub. I was so shy that I should have on the dress. My job at the party is to guild the guests to the main place and give them one cup of cocktail. I had prepared for the party for a whole day and  then I should wear high-heeled shoes and stand all night. In addition, we should clean up the place and review to find some points to impove. At the end of the day, I had run out of my enegry and felt drained all of my abilities. And my feet were so sore and in pain that I could not normally walk. As a result, I fell asleep as soon as I touch my bed at that night. What a nice and tired experience!!

Nice Dinner Time

     This week, I had a nice dinner with my underclassmen and my upperclassmen in Pin Tian
Pasture(品田牧場). I liked the happy atmosphere. Because we were in different grades, we could share different experiences and opinions of the college life. I heard a lots of things that I didn't know before during the dinner time. I love my underclassmen and my upperclassmen very much. I extremely enjoyed the time when I dealt with them.

Week 9 (2011/11/7-2011/11/13)

Night of the Milky Way Railway

     Recently, I have read a book, Night of the Milky Way Railway. It is one of the most famous fairy tales novel. The author, Miyazawa Kenji(宮澤賢治), expressed his ideal country with the fantasy Milky tour.

No matter how difficult things, as long as follow the right way forward, even from the mountain climb up or go down,  it is much closer that on pace to move on the real happiness.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

     This week, I watch a movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, because it is the third theme of our reading group meeting. It is the second time I watch the movie. I think it is a touching and impressive movie.

Week 7 (2011/10/24-2011/10/30)

Wan Wan

     I likes Wan Wan's picture books. She draws cute and interesting strip cartoon. Her personal experience of life is not mighty or special. However, the experience of daily life have much more influencce on people.
     The fist Wan Wan's picture book was given from my English teacher in junior high school. It was a reward because I was English teacher's assistant and diligent in studying English. From then on, I enjoyed reading Wan Wan's picture books.
     Then, I bought a Wan Wan's picture book. It was a cheerful book. " No matter what difficulties you encounter, ​​try to make your mind change, muster up courage and keep going on! " (遇到任何難關，試著讓想法轉個彎，繼續鼓起勇氣前進吧！)

Week 6 (2011/10/17-2011/10/23)

Follow the Wind

     In this semester, some classmates and I hold a reading group meeting, Follow the Wind, we had held for one time in last semester. There are Mark, Xinran, Eric, Jessica, Helice, Vicky, and I participate in the reading group meeting. I think that the style of our reading group which is just like its name is free and unrestricted. The goals of our reading group are enjoyment and pleasure. We prefer to watching movies or enjoying exhibitions rather than reading books as the result that we don't to be limited to read a book. It will make us can't enjoy our reading group. However, the regulations of reading group meeting are changed in this semester. We can't be as free as the one in last semester. We can't enjoy exhibitions and are limited to reading books or watching some movies related to environmental protection, green energy, or worthy of discussion. We have no choice but select some meaningful movie to watch.
     Today, we hold the first reading group meeting in Eric's house. The first movie we watch is "The Reader". I think that I gain a lot from this reading group meeting. By the process of discussing, I can listen others' opinions and thoughts. In addition, I can understand the movie much more and clarify some doubtful points. For example, I can know the background of the movie. Beside, I can understand the change of the main roles' moods as well as the meaning of each reading. I am quite satisfied at the end of our reading group meeting.

Week 5 (2011/10/10-2011/10/16)

My HsinChu Tour

     We had a back-to-back three days vacation this week because of Double Tenth Day. Yuia invited me to her hometown, HsinChu. I had looked forward to the tour for a long time because it was my first time to go to HsinChu.
     When we took the bus on the way her home, I could see the scenery along the way. There were some green paddy fields and two big windmills.
     On first day, Yuia took me to seashore. I could smell the salty tastes in the air and hear the voice of the surf. I bought a bottle of marble soft drink to recall my childhood memories. Then, Yuia took me to the mangrove forest. The land scope of mangrove forest was very large. In addition, there were the setting sun and the filling moon in the sky. The sky was painted with a variety of colors, such as orange, blue pink, grey, and so on. The colorful and beautiful sky had caught my eyes for a long time. Finally, we return Yuia's home by drining scooter. I could hear the voice of roaring wind and the insects crying.
     On second day, Yuia took me to Yongan fishing port. There were lots of fishing boats anchoring off. In addition, there were many egters halting on the sand bar for a few minutes. We sat there to enloyed the broad view and the leisure time. Then, we decided to go to the seashore and the mangrove forest once again. For the reason that we went out so late pridian day that we had less time to enjoy in the seashore and the mangrove forest. Besides, I forget to bring my camera so that I could not record the beautiful scenery. However, the sky was not so beautiful as before. It made me a little disappointed. This time, I didn't care whether I wore jeans. I took off my shoes as well as socks and ran to the sandy beach. I enjoyed the happy time very much.
     I had two great days in HsinChu. It was a wonderful tour for me. Thank you, Yuia.

Week 4 (2011/10/3-2011/10/9)

The Collection of Tagare's Poems

     Recently, I have read The Collection of Tagare's Poems for several days. I like Tagare's poems because the words are exquisite and attractive. From Tagare's writing, I can enjoy the naive and innocent interest. Image the scenes from the writing, I seem to enter that peaceful and beautiful world. Tagare showed deep philosophy and thoughts by the short sentences. I think Tagare's poems give me a feeling of fresh. However, each word and each sentence are not only touched but also philosophy. I always ponder on the deep meaning of the words. Sometimes, I immerse in reading the poems and forget the time flying.

     There are some my favorite sentences as below:

If you shed tears when you miss the sun, you also miss the stars.

What you are you do not see, what you see is your shadow.

The birth and death of the leaves are the rapid whirls of eddy whose wider circles move slowly among stars.

Week 4 (2011/10/3-2011/10/9)

Happy Teacher's Day

     Teacher's Day is in this week. I have a special feeling about the day because I am doing something like a teacher.
     Recently, I have a part-time job. I have to enhance and teach some junior high school students' math. In the beginning, I am so nervous that I don't know how to do. There are five students in my class. I am worried that I cannot teach them well and that I cannot control the order. However, little bt little, I know how to teach and deal with them.
     My students are very noisy and always chat in the class. I should try my hard to control the order all the time. They don't like to do their homework and listen the course. In addition, they are always absent-minded and only look forward to the break time. When I ask them questions or have them solve questions on the blackboard, they often don't want to do that. It makes me worried that whether they understand the courses or not. Yet, I have dealt with them for three weeks and I gradually know how to control the order well and let them more obedient.
     Although they are very mischievous, they sometimes make me happy. Take an example, there is a girl who always study hard and concentratedly listen my teaching. Besides, as long as I say that I should keep the schedule on time and then let them take a break, there are other two girls control the order to let me teach them more quickly. Their innocence and consideration always me touched.
     On the Teacher's Day, I remember my teachers in my junior high school and senior high school. I want to know how they feel about teaching and dealing with students. Have they ever had the same feeling as I have now?

Week 3 (2011/9/26-2011/10/2)

Our Welcome Camp for the Freshmen

     This weekend is our welcome camp for the freshmen. We hold the camp in Xitou. We sophomores have prepared for the camp for a whole month. We all hope that the camp will be perfect.
     On first day, the main activities are grounded games, a short drama, dancing performance, and night walking. My jobs are helping a keeper of the grounded games and playing ghost to scare freshmen in night walking.
     Helping the keeper of the grounded games is very interesting because I can see the freshmen break through the barrier. The condition of breaking through the barrier is to eat the cotton candies that are tied a holder with cotton threads. Two teams compete with each other by eat more cotton candies. In addition, the punishment for the loser team is to eat cotton candies with mustard. I have to tie cotton candies to the holder quickly. Although I should incessantly tie cotton candies when they play the games, I can see the  whole process and the punishment. It is very funny.
     At night, I should prepare for night walking. It is a little pity that I can't see short drama and dancing performance. In order to play ghost more terrifyingly, I can't wear eyeglasses. As a result, I try my first time to wear contact lenses. However, the air is so cold that my contact lenses are too dry to take off it. Thanks to my roommate's artificial tear fluid and rich experienece, I finally successfully take off my contact lenses. I don't know whether I want to try it next time or not. There is another thing worse, the original route of night walking is so dark, scared, and dangerous that we change the route to a brighter place. Even though the atmosphere and result do not meet our expectations, security is the most important one.
     On second day, the main activities are RPG games and award presentation ceremony. I am the hoster of RPG games. My partner and I have to practice before RPG games; however, when we arrive there, we find that there are crowded with tourists. We have no choice but force ourselves to practice in public. It is extremely embarrassed.
     Then, the award presentation ceremony as well as the punishment for the lostest team mark a fulfill ending for our welcome camp for the freshmen. Every sophomore is busy during the two days. We are so exhausted that we all sleep on the tourist coach; while, the other tourist coach that the freshmen take is filled with singing sound.

Week 2 (2011/9/19-2011/9/25)

My Schedule

     Look my schedule, I find that my sophomore life will be very busy.  
     In this semester, I minor in the Department of International Business and choose the courses to promote abilities. It makes my school timetable full of courses. In addition, I have a small part-time job. I should enhance and teach some junior high school students' math. It takes my two hours in each week to do the part-time job. Besides, there is also a study group meeting listed on my schedule. Our study group meeting focuses on not books but movies because we want to learn by a free and easy way. We choose some meaningful movies to watch and discuss. In the process of discussing, we can listen others' opinions and thought. I think that it is a good experience to learn. Apart from above, as a sophomore, I should guide freshmen to do the activities in our department. Take the seventh English Waves for an example, it is the first and one of the biggest activities in our department for our freshmen. We should lead them to prepare for the activities from now on.
     Look my schedule, I think that I will be very busy in my sophomore year. However, those are what I choice or what I should do. I will try my hard to keep my schedule on time lest my sophomore life becomes extremely awful.

Week 2 (2011/9/19-2011/9/25)

My First Week in this Semester

     This week is my first week in this semester.
     My classmates have been preparing for the camp to welcome our freshmen for more than two weeks. My jobs for the camp is to take charge of  night walking and the host of RPG games.
     In order to prepare for the night walking, I have watched lots of horror movies. It makes me scared and lets me cannot sleep well at night, especially at weekend night when my roommates return their homes and I stay alone in the dormitory. I am so scared that I sleep with the light bright. Because the light will be turned off in the middle of the night, I always get into bed before midnight to avoid the silent darkness and expect the light's brughtness and the coming of dawn.
     In addition, I practice a lot with my partner for the host of RPG games. My partner's and my voices are so small and monotonous that we should practice all the time. Besides, our performance is not vivid and dramatic enough; as a result, our performance is not always ideal when we show our performane in front of the whole class. We feel extremely frustrated and disappointed; yet, we have no choice but practice over and over again in order to achieve the perfectest performance.
     For the camp to welcome our freshmen, my first week in this semester is a busy and substantial week.
